[ARCHIVED] Unexpected Recycling Collection Delay

The Town's Recycling contractor, Republic Services, is running behind schedule with recycling collection today, Tuesday January 17, 2023.

The following neighborhoods may be impacted:

  • South Rd (from The Great Rd to Loomis St)
  • Loomis St, Webber Ave
  • Railroad Ave, Culter St, Otis St
  • Crescent Ave, Bacon Rd
  • School Way, Mudge Way
  • Elm St, Rodney Rd and Foster Rd

UPDATE (as of 6:00PM on 1/17/23): Ashby Rd, Walsh Rd, Lane Ave and Winthrop Ave as well as South Rd (from Hartwell to Loomis), Hartwell Rd, Independence Rd, Washington St (and side streets) have been completed. 

Republic Services will return tomorrow, Wednesday Jan 18, to collect any recycling they were unable to collect. The Department of Public works appreciates everyone's patience as we work with the contractor to complete recycling collection. This delay impacts recycling collection only.
