Assessors
The Board of Assessors and the Assessing Department are charged with valuing all real and personal property in the Town of Bedford fairly and equitably in accordance with applicable Massachusetts General Laws, and with providing quality service to the public and operating departments while also ensuring excellent financial management and maximum operational efficiencies.

The Code Enforcement Department is responsible for ensuring public safety, health, and welfare insofar as they are affected by building construction and land use activities.

The Bedford Council on Aging is a department of the Town of Bedford dedicated to the health and well-being of Bedford's nearly 4,000 residents 60 and older - now, 29% of the Town's population.

The Facilities Department provides maintenance, custodial and construction management services in a cost effective, customer oriented manner needed to protect the capital investment made by the residents of Bedford in their public facilities and to maintain a safe, comfortable and functional environment for all building occupants.
