Disposition of Municipal Property - 23 Winterberry Way

Town of Bedford, Massachusetts

The Bedford Municipal Affordable Housing Trust (the ‘Trust’), an agent of the Town of Bedford, Massachusetts, is soliciting proposals for the disposition of the property, for the developer to make renovations to the property, and then for the developers to sell the property under the DHCD affordable housing program.  

The property is owned by the Trust which has the sole purpose to provide for the preservation and creation of affordable housing in the Town of Bedford for the benefit of low and moderate income households. The Trust intends to convey the property to the successful responder for the renovation of a single-family affordable structure which will be sold to a first time homebuyer household whose income is below 80% of area median family income.  

The purpose of this RFP is to select a non-profit developer with experience in constructing affordable housing.  

Application responses to this RFP are due on or before 11:00am on Friday, May 12, 2023.
