The Massachusetts Attorney General issued a letter on June 15, 2023 which approves Bedford's zoning amendment that eases rules for creating Two-Family Dwellings. The amendment was passed by Annual Town Meeting on March 27, 2023 as Article 22.
Once notice has been posted by the Town Clerk, the amendment will be deemed to take effect from the date of Town Meeting.
The wording of the changes is as shown in the Warrant. In due course, they will be incorporated in the full Zoning Bylaw document, which is currently undergoing a reorganization project.
