Recycling helps to reduce the volume of material sent for disposal and preserves the resources that were required to create those materials. Recycling is also a key component of Bedford's waste reduction strategy.

Recycling Drop-Off

Residents can bring excess flattened cardboard and glass for recycling to the Compost Site, 108 Carlisle Road, during open hours. Visit the Compost & Recycling Center page to learn more here.

Curbside Recycling

Curbside Recycling is collected on the same day as trash. All recyclables must fit into the provided blue cart. Items left on the ground will not be collected.

Please Do Not Bag Recycling. All items should be clean, dry, and loose in the cart.
