Bedford Friends of Trees

Have you ever:

  • Marveled at the brilliant colors of our New England autumn?
  • Picked an apple and savored its crunchy sweetness?
  • Relaxed in the shade of a tree on a hot summer day?
  • Climbed a tree?
  • Planted a tree and watched it grow over the years?

If you have, you probably are a friend of trees!

The Bedford Arbor Resources Committee (BARC) is starting a Bedford Friends of Trees group. Our goal is to increase public awareness of trees and issues affecting Bedford's trees.

Initially, we see this as an email list to distribute occasional information about trees, tree-related activities around town and Town Tree hearings. If there's interest, perhaps the list could grow into a discussion forum for Bedford trees.

Please join us in supporting Bedford trees by accessing the Bedford Friends of Trees Google Group website.

When the page opens, click on "Ask to join group" at the top of the page. You will always be able to opt-out. Please forward this message to anyone who you think might be interested.

Thank You!
